Halloween Poster

I used contrast by making my words orange and putting them on a black background. I also used spacing with the bats and tombstones.

Halloween Text

I learned how to distort things under effects. I also learned how to put an inner glow on the text.

I used repetition in some of the fonts in order to make everything look consistent and neat. Using alignment, I was able to stack my words neatly and make them look more organized. I spaced some of the letters out and made some more close together in order to create some contrast between the words.

Rocky

The hardest part was probably making the brushes for the fur and actually painting on every single strand of hair. The easiest part was making the whiskers.

Lyric Typography

The song I used is "Waterfalls" by TLC. These lyrics are saying don't go after something that is hard to obtain. Chase something that you are familiar with and is easier to find. I italicized and bolded "DON'T" in order to emphasize it because the song is saying to not chase waterfalls. I used kerning in the word "WATERFALLS" because it is held out in the song when TLC sings it and it is the main word in my lyrics. I chose a light blue background to create a peaceful vibe. I also added a small picture of a waterfall I made with the paintbrush in order to make the overall picture more interesting. I used the element of line to make the words look more organized and put together. I also used different fonts to make it look more interesting.
